About Diego Pineda
(aka D.P. Martínez)

Diego Pineda has written a little bit of everything—nonfiction, fiction, and hundreds of articles across science, business, and marketing. Over the years, his writing has evolved with his interests, from dissecting medical myths to exploring the power of thought leadership.

Publishing under his own name, Diego’s nonfiction journey began with medical writing (including the bestselling Do Vaccines Cause That?! in 2008), then shifted to Christian nonfiction in both English and Spanish, and more recently to business books with the Solo Thought Leadership series (2023–2025).

And fiction? He’s been at it for a while too. In 2009–2010, he released two Christian thrillers—The Gentlemen’s Conspiracy and The Jihad’s Messiah—under the pen name Nick Daniels. He later self-published a whimsical middle-grade series co-written with his family, The Secret of Oppenheimer.

These days, he writes literary fiction and contemporary fantasy under the name D.P. Martínez. His next novel, Son of the Axe, is set to launch in 2026.

Diego is Colombian-Canadian and lives in London, UK, with his wife. They have two adult sons.
